Bagel Nash Review

Bagel Nash are committed to producing only the healthiest and freshest bakery products. In all their retail stores they take great care to ensure their products look and taste good, while at the same time offering nutritional value. Their bakery range includes Bagels and bagel bars, produced using a long fermentation cycle and only natural ingredients with no preservatives or added fats. Legend has it that the worlds first bagel arrived in 1683 as a tribute by a local baker to Jan Sobieski, the King of Poland. The baker shaped yeast dough into an uneven circle resembling a stirrup, with the Austrian word for “Stirrup” being Beugel. Other stories about the origin of the bagel are more down to earth, for instance many believe that the shape came about to help street vendors carry the bagels to their customers, using long poles or strings! Traditionally bagels are boiled in hot water prior to baking to provide the shiny crust and a soft dense crumb. In the late 1800's, the bagel found its way over to America with Jewish immigrants and around 1910, the Bagel Bakers Union was formed in New York. By the 1980's, the American style bagels started to appear back in Europe in a variety of flavours with a softer texture that was more suitable for sandwich making. Bagel Nash produce the American style authentic bagels in over 20 exciting flavours which are 100% G.M.O free. Bagels are supplied around the UK frozen fully baked, lightly baked or part baked with a 12 month shelf life. Their savoury bagel range includes Wholemeal, Plain, Poppy, Onion, Roasted Garlic, Black Sesame Seed, Sundried Tomato & Cheddar, Jalapeno and Herb, Cheese and Jalapeno, Rustic Bran, American Rye, Multiseed, Spinach and Herb, Sunflower Seeds, Olives and Sun-Dried Tomato, Pumpernickel, Raisin and Cinnamon, Honey Wheat, Chocolate Marble and Wild Blueberry.
